The Misunderstood Villain

He is green, he is obscenely toned, and his clothing bill is through the roof.  The villain I am feeling the most compassion for is the one, the only, "The Incredible Hulk".  The misfortune of being at the wrong place at the wrong time is the misfortune that fell upon this poor man/creature.  Deep within his soul he wants to be loved, he wants to show his soft gentle side, but the rage that burns just above his soul (more like heartburn) is what the creature is known for.  The legacy that the Hulk will leave behind should be that of a man who desperately wants to do right, but is often found in the middle of wrong.  This can be said about many of us and we must not judge him too harshly - what he wants and what he got are two entirely different worlds.  From the words of a well known song, "I'm just a man whose intentions are good, oh Lord, please don't let me be misunderstood" , says it all.
